Help! A page called protectionwarning.com has highjacked my browser!?windows server 2003
Since your homepage is pointing to http://protectionwarning.com/ , this means your PC is infected with a trojan called Zlob Trojan. Of course it is important to get rid of protectionwarning.com, but it is just as important to also remove the Zlob Trojan that implanted it there. In my experience, a program called SpyNoMore is your best bet in removing the Zlob trojan. By removing this trojan, you will also get rid of protectionwarning.com. Another symptom of Zlob Trojan is that it generates fake warning messages like:
System Alert
Critical System Error
System Performance monitor warning
Security Alert: NetWorm-i.Virus@fp
W32.Myzor.FK@yf

Help! A page called protectionwarning.com has highjacked my browser!?windows xp service internet explorer
Try running adaware in Safe mode first. run it 2 times and do a full disk scan
after running it, run your anti virus program in safe mode also.
if it detects the spyware, or virus then run the computer in normal mode
Try Spyware Doctor. http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/
Even if you don't buy it, you can see a list of infected files in the text of the scan report. Then delete them manually. 'Probably need to do it in safe mode.
To find registry files go to the run box and type regedit.
get free scan and fix from Microsoft,
