I have a store under a domain name that I purchased through yahoo, but I really want to use a domain name that is registered elsewhere.
It looks like the only solution (without having to build a new store) is to create a CNAME in the store domains list, then redirect from the registrar.
I'm just not sure what the CNAME should be. Should the CNAME be the domain name that is registered outside of yahoo?
For example, the name I want is www.mystore.com and it is hosted elsewhere. Would I put "www.mystore.com" as the CNAME inside yahoo?
Are there any other options for getting my domain name over to my Yahoo Store?
How to change my Yahoo Store Domain Name?windows mail
Not sure, but be careful of posting anything that will take someone away from one site to go to another. It may be against the "rules" of the site %26amp; you may be temporerily taken off %26amp; it becomes a real hassel because you can't get any billing info, contact info, comunication etc. till you resolve the contraversy, trying to argue with a computer that has set responses to key words in your communication %26amp; never acctually deals with your inquiry.
