Would anyone like to hear our next President make this speech?

"Effective immediately all troops are withdrawn and foreign aid to other nations ceases immediately and indefinitely. The money saved during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the Iraqi war. THEN EVERY YEAR THERE AFTER IT GO TO OUR SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM SO IT WONT GO BROKE IN 20 YEARS.

The American people are no longer going to pour money into third world Hellholes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption.

Need help with a famine ? Wrestling with an epidemic? Call France.

Oh, by the way, the United States is abrogating the NAFTA treaty - starting now.

In the future, together with Congress, I will work to redirect

this money toward solving the vexing social problems we still

have at home . On that note, a word to terrorist organizations.

Screw with us and we will hunt you down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face of the earth."

I would fight to get to the head of the line to vote for someone that felt this way. With most politicians having their hands in so many of these pockets, I fear it would never happen. Personally, I would like a choice to vote for someone and not either against someone or chosing the lesser of two evils.

A speech with similar ideas, but with nicer diction, would be very refreshing and, I think, welcome.
Would never happen. Bureaucrats and Coporations have all the money, and saving it would only mean they'll get richer. Your OWN government is corrupt. Start there.
The only time America withdraws from illegal foreign adventures is when they are beaten out like fleas. See vietnam. Somalia. Cambodia etc.
"...eliminate you and all your friends..."; how does that square with your first sentence about pulling the troops out of, I assume, Iraq?
yOU are right! Philippines is a very good example of U.S. funds gone wasted. 20 years ago, I met a passenger from Frunkfurt - Philippine trip. After a casual introduction, he introduce himself as an IMF representative going to our country to loan out millions of dollars. I told him not to do it. At that time we have FVR as President. This president does nothing other than travelling outside our country blubbering sweet nothing, while our people suffers with abject poverty. Most funds going to the Philippines ends up in the pocket of politicians. It never reach the very people it is suppose to serve. Just recently, a very destructive typhoon hit southern portion of Luzon, and generous Vietnam donated tons and tons of rice. And of all things, because the rice quality is of superior brand, our government decided to sell it out. OUr government is the worths kind of governance. From a dictator, we got an aristocratic form of government where ordinary people carries a heavy tax burden made by irresponsible politicians who doesn't have any remorse making loans and steal it. We, the ordinary people in the Philippines feel ashame of our government. Please enjoy your money than waste it to us. It never reaches the common people anyway. Thanks for our INDEPENDENCE!
Not exactly.

What I would like to hear is:

"Effective immediately all troops are withdrawn and foreign aid to Israel ceases immediately". Furthermore, we will stop policing the world, we will stop being an imperialistic nation and we will close all of our 700 bases around the world. This will have two very positive effects. First, the rest of the world would stop hating us and cooperating with us rather than resisting us. Second, we will use the 1 trillion dollars we save, to pay down our debt.

I will abolish the Fed (which is unconstitutional) and return to the sound fiscal policy of living within our means by pegging the dollar to the gold standard. No more money printed out of thin air that creates inflation and squeezes out the middle class while profiting the private bankers who control the Fed.

I will abolish income taxes and abolish the IRS (which is also unconstitutional). I believe that a person ought to keep the fruits of their labor and not live in fear, but in freedom. I would maintain corporate income taxes and excise taxes.

I will also abolish Homeland Security who serves no other purpose but to control our citizenry. We are not a police state.

I will reinforce our borders so that we are secure.

I will abolish the CIA which is corrupt and have it replaced by a true intelligence gathering agency which is accountable to Congress.

I believe that teachers and school boards should be accountable to parents, not federal bureaucrats. Education is not the prerogative of the Federal government, but that of the States and that of local communities.

I believe in small government, free market economy, individual rights and freedoms.

I will repeal the Patriot Act which makes a travesty of our constitution and civil liberties. No more illegal wiretaps and no more seizure of your private affairs without a warrant issued by a judge.

I will eliminate the FCC which is essentially a cartel that has placed 96% of the mass media in the hands of five corporations.

I will stop selling your a fabricated war on Terror, which is really a war to control your life and take away your liberties and capacity for critical thought. I believe that government is not supposed to regulate your lives, so I will definitely ban and national ID card with an RFID chip whose purpose is to track your every move.

I believe in our national sovereignty and our American identity and I will fight to preserve it and promote it.

I am all for transparent government, the American ideals our forefathers died for and obeying the highest law of the land - our constitution."

That's what I would like to hear in a speech. The funny thing I already am... by Ron Paul. The only candidate in this election running on his conviction and on his ideals. The only candidate who is not a member of the CFR (Council of foreign Relations). If you do not know who they are, you should look it up and not stop at the glossy BS in their website. They are the people that pull the strings behind Clinton, Obama, Romney, Huckabee, Mccain. Have you ever wondered why these people are running? Are the running for YOU or are they running for themselves? What does your gut tell you?

"Screw with us and we will hunt you down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face of the earth."

What do you think we are doing now in the Middle East, where the terrorists from 9-11 are still grouping. That makes the first statement here mute.
Id Love It
No.
As like you and me and many American people we are tired of half our pay checks going to taxes that pay for all those

programs that send money every wear else in the world and pay for the rest of the world problems !!!

The USA has become like a child with a credit card that has run up a debit it can only pay a small amount at a time of

We no longer have a monopoly on big business all bus sines

is global we control no industry, industry controls us.

So if we closed trade with the would and tried to become a Nation to stand on our own we would go Bankrupt we only represent 33% of the would economay that is the controlling

share of the would but not enought to stand alone in the would.
