If I change my Yahoo! Mail content from UK to American, will my email address change?

I made two Yahoo mail accounts years ago, and set one of them to recieve UK %26amp; Ireland news so i could tell the two apart.

But that account ended up with an address ending in .co.uk instead of .com, despite the fact that I live in the US. This has caused some confusion, and I am unsatisfied with the UK service.

Now I'm afraid that my address will change and not redirect people who try the old address... please let me know what the reality is!

Email Address will remain the same. Actually all Yahoo Accounts and Domains can never be changed once they are made.
