Weeping Willow Tree is growing crooked?

We planted a weeping willow tree in our yard last year, and it is doing well, except for the fact that it is tilting to the east, it is probably from the predominant west wind that blows here. Can I tie the tree in the opposite direction to redirect the way it is growing? I've seen it done to othe trees, but do not want to harm this tree. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

inited8991 is exactly right. it depends on how tall the tree is you could do it yourself. the only way itd harm the tree is if you did protect the trunk from the wires, also make sure it doesnt rub the trunk. im sure you've seen the kind of metal that is used to tie trees with and the wire

You can try that. Use something to protect the bark from the tie wire. Of course one of the beautiful things about a weeping willow is the randomness of the design
